This project came to us with the brief to deliver a ‘caviar’ architectural residence on a ‘fish & chips’ budget. Two mature trees on site were subject to a sizeable council bond and had to be protected in accordance with stringent requirements. The concrete floor finish is no more than a steel trowel finish with sealer. This meant very careful protection through the weathering and rigours of the construction process.
